Policy in Brief
Applicants should familiarise themselves with the Grant Giving Policy.
Grants are normally made on a one-off basis of up to £5,000.00 (but can in some circumstances be more) or between £10,000 and £100,000 in the case of Project Bazooka, to Reservist or Cadet units that can satisfy the objectives of the fund and where funds cannot be obtained from military and other charitable organisations.
Applications should be made via the online application form giving as much relevant information as possible as to the exact purpose for which the Grant will be used. The Trustees wish to know if approaches have been made to other organisations. If the requirement is for adventure training, are the participants contributing, and if so what proportion of the total cost. Applications for retrospective activities will not be considered.
The Trustees normally meet three times a year to review applications. The remaining meeting dates for 2021 are; Monday 12th July and Thursday 18th November.
Project Bazooka grant decisions will be made in late 2021.
Please note that applications need to be submitted at least two weeks before the meetings.
In the case of Project Bazooka applications must be submitted by 1st October at the latest.
