GRANT APPLICATIONS

Policy in Brief

Grants are normally made on a one-off basis of up to £5,000.00 to Reservist or Cadet units that can satisfy the objectives of the fund as described and where funds cannot be obtained from military and charitable organisations.

Application Conditions

Applications should be made via the online application form giving as much relevant information as possible as to the exact purpose for which the Grant will be used. The Trustees wish to know if approaches have been made to other organisations. If the requirement is for adventure training, are the participants contributing, and if so what proportion of the total cost. Retrospective applications will not be considered.

Trustee Meetings

The Trustees normally meet three times a year to review applications. The dates for the meetings in 2019 will be published at the end of January 2019.  It is expected that the next meeting will be during March 2019. Applications need to be submitted at least two weeks before the meeting.
