📺 A Huge Thank You to the Connaught Trust! 📺

Cadets from Delta Company, Sussex Army Cadet Force, using a new widescreen television funded by the Connaught Trust to support training and presentations at their Brighton locations.

Delta Company, Sussex Army Cadet Force would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Connaught Trust for their generous grant, which has enabled us to purchase two new widescreen televisions for use across our Brighton training locations at Preston Barracks and Dyke Road Army Reserve Centre.

Replacing some ancient second hand screens, these new screens will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training to our Cadets for many years to come. From instructional videos and presentations to leadership development, first aid training, fieldcraft lessons and safeguarding briefings, the new TVs will help bring learning to life and enhance the experience of every Cadet who passes through our doors.

As a long-lasting investment, these televisions will benefit hundreds of young people over their lifetime, supporting the development of confidence, leadership, teamwork and practical skills that our Cadets carry with them into the future.

Sergeant Michelle Goddard said, "It will improve our training enormously. Cadets will be able to see the screen without problems, and with Internet connectivity will help greatly with the avoidance of buffering downloads, which will be game-changing. Thank you very much to the Connaught Trust!"
